Hand held hoses can be used at anytime, we recommend they be fitted with a trigger nozzle.
Water & Waste have implemented permanent water conservation measures to encourage the community to adopt responsible and efficient water consumption practices.
The measures are simply common sense practices such as not watering in the heat of the day and fitting trigger nozzles to outdoor hoses.
Level 2 Water Restrictions - in areas connected to the Mossman/Port Douglas Water Supply Scheme
This includes Mossman, Port Douglas, Craiglie, Mowbray, Newell Beach, Cooya Beach and Cassowary and are effective from Monday 12th October.
