Disasters come in many forms. In the Cairns Region we are at potential risk from cyclones, floods, storms, tsunami and bushfires.

Natural disasters can cause severe disruption and major damage to communities and services. Council is working to ensure our community, emergency services, recovery teams and administrators are prepared for all contingencies.

If disaster does strike, some forward planning will help to ensure your own safety and that of your family, loved ones, pets and assets. The following links will help you to be prepared.
